Authorization Process

When Authorization Required

  • Flying within 5 km of airport (any size)

  • Flying above 150m AGL (requires special permission)

How to Request Authorization

See and Avoid

Visual Scanning

  • Systematic Scan: Scan sky systematically, not randomly.
  • Focus Variation: Vary focus distance (near, far).
  • Blind Spots: Be aware of visual blind spots (sun glare, clouds).
  • Visual Observer: Use VO untuk enhanced scanning. See crew resource management.

Collision Avoidance
